How Park Ridge Organics better serves their customers with KioskBuddy

Walking up to the Park Ridge Organics Farm Shop in Fond Du Lac Wisconsin, I knew I was someplace special. I immediately felt at home inside the quaint shop. Before checking out their kiosk set up, I browsed their assortment of products. Like most farm stands and shops, in addition to their own produce, they carried an assortment of third-party goods like t-shirts, pastas, sauces, and drinks.

A farm shop like this could benefit from our barcode scanning feature which allows customers to capture a product SKU using the iPad camera.

With a busy CSA program and most of the staff tending the fields, KioskBuddy has allowed Park Ridge to better serve their customers by keeping their farm stand open longer without the need for live cashier support.

Park Ridge went with a fairly straight forward set up, using an iPad on a swivel stand and a Square card reader. They also provided some helpful preemptive FAQs for customers to assist them with checkout.
