I've used KioskBuddy a few times over the years. It was very useful during the pandemic for allowing customers to order without interaction with my staff.

I just recently used KB in a food hall setting for a pop-up that was a basically a one man operation. KB allowed the operator to run his stall from the kitchen. Also, when I could not get my POS KDS to work, I was delighted that KB has it's own built in KDS function. That was a lifesaver!

Very user friendly and easy to use.

We've been successfully using KioskBuddy for a couple of months - it helped us to handle rushes at our cafe during the summer season and we hope to continue to develop the ordering process. There are a lot of features that I hope the company will work on to help with the user experience. For now things are great and our ability to really build a UI from scratch is wonderful - I wish Square was as easy to work with.

Great app, easy to use and quite flexible. Once you understand how it connects to items in Square and how menus work, you are good to go. I just wished we'd be able to have different kiosks have different workflows. We use them in our store as well as for catering or food trucks, and the flow varies between them. I was told that this feature is under consideration. Hopefully soon.

If I could rate this app a 10 I would. Absolutely amazing app from beginning to end. You just have to try it for yourself! We purchased the Square mount with the iPad, and added this app to the iPad and it's been amazing since day 1. Ease of use and very efficient!

KioskBuddy was a great addition to our business. It allowed us to have a full-service kiosk solution with no programming experience, no need for expensive equipment, and allowed us to operate in a time where staffing levels were not able to be increased due to a lack of workforce. The Customer Support that I received throughout time with KioskBuddy (which were mainly questions about some advanced features that we were wanting, but were not necessary) was superb. They were always a chat away and got back to me in reasonable times. It is definitely plug and play - just sync your menu and you can have a full kiosk with photos, customizations, and everything in an hour or less! I would definitely recommend this app/ service/ company to anyone looking for a kiosk solution!

Great app and customer service!

KioskBuddy worked great for our non-profit. We needed a donation kiosk giving option for our existing iPads that was easy to set up and KioskBuddy met all our expectations.

So happy we decided to use KioskBuddy on our self serve kiosk stations at my restaurant. Our customers also love them. Our average ticket size is almost double through the kiosk, customers prefer it over our cashiers and customers tip better using the kiosk. Works seamlessly over the Square POS and the user interface for customers and the back-end was great. Really well done product all around and cant say enough about their customer service - these guys are really sharp. If in doubt, you should at least do the free trial and try it out. Many services and apps advertise "plug and play". Kiosk Buddy really is plug in and play. Sync'd our menu...made some tweaks...and when we connected the wireless network, everything worked the FIRST TIME. We're using KB in a full service Mexican restaurant.

This kiosk software integrated seamlessly with our Square Point of Sale. It was a joy to configure, works really well and was by the far the most affordable and easy kiosk solution available. We have ours running on an iPad Air 2, it prints out to our network connected cloud printer and it has made it possible for us to run the store with one less employee at times. Well worth it ! the first one has been so great, we are installing a second one.

We have been using this kiosk system for North River Pizza Company for a few months now and couldn't be happier. We love it, customers love it!

We are a community farm in upstate New York. We needed a way to offer our vegetables for sale that would provide our customers with the convenience of extended hours of operation and the ability to pay by credit card -- but we couldn't afford to hire staff just to babysit a small store. Now in our 2nd year, our farm store is open year round from dawn to dusk and operates entirely on a self-service basis thanks to Kiosk Buddy.

The interface was super easy for all our customers to adapt to, and the reporting provides us much-needed overviews of how our sales are going without a bunch of recorded keeping on our own. Plus our customers regularly tell us how much they love that we are operating the store on the honor system -- it's gives us a very small town feel that is hard to capture. I wish Square would have an app like this for self ordering kiosks.

KioskBuddy is an easy to use self-order kiosk that integrates very well with Square. Even someone with minimal technical knowledge should be able to set up KioskBuddy on an iPad and using a desktop browser within minutes.

The menu sync works well (you can even hide certain items and modifiers from the customer facing side if you have selections on Square that you keep for staff only) and both the internal and customer facing interfaces are simple and easy to use. Features such as Loyalty integration, itemized reporting that links to Square, and the ability to send orders to printers connected to the Square POS (similar to the way Online Orders come in) are all useful and just add to how streamlined KioskBuddy is.

Another plus is that the developers are constantly looking for ways to improve their app and its functionality. Overall, KioskBuddy has definitely assisted in improving operational efficiency and order flow, especially during peak times.

KioskBuddy is a fantastic integration. We used it for a few different pop ups and for a kiosk and were very pleased. The price is reasonable and within 15 minutes you can build a beautiful looking touchscreen kiosk. I’ve tried a lot of new products on the Square platform and they usually have issues at first. We had very few issues with KioskBuddy.

As a bakery we run very tight inventory and ran the kiosk at the same time as our register. That meant sometimes the inventory didn’t quite line up. That’d be my only qualm but it was easily fixable and kiosk Buddy allows you to stop selling an item when it hits a certain threshold. It’s a reasonable work around that’s easy to follow. Square has a worse issue in their inventory feature where they allow you to sell into negative stock. That said - KioskBuddy is actually better than square at managing inventory. KioskBuddy’s inventory feature would prob be smart for square to replicate.

Anyhow, I tell all my friends who look into kiosks to use kiosk Buddy and I suggest anyone considering it to give it a try. It’s the best product I’ve ever used on the Square platform and I highly recommend it. This is the first app integration review I’ve ever left here because they’re THAT deserving.

KioskBuddy has really helped our two coffeehouses during the pandemic! We have been contactless since March, utilizing the square online shop. We were starting to see several customers a day walk away because they did not want to use their phone to put in an order. The addition of the kiosk really helped with those customers unable/unwilling to order online.

We are up to 14-15 kiosk purchases/day at each shop. Even after we reopen fully, I will continue to use this service as another option for orders. ALSO, the support on this service is TOP KNOTCH - it also deserves 5 Stars.

It is super easy to use. It syncs with Square Loyalty as well which is amazing for customers! We have a kiosk set up in our store that has increased our revenues during the pandemic.
