You can enable Custom Pricing for any item on your kiosk, allowing your customers to manually type in the price they'll pay. This can be super useful for use cases like pre-labeled items of different weight, setups where scales are involved, or even donation setups where the customer chooses how much they'd like to donate.
Navigate to the Catalog tab and open your desired menu.
Expand your Categories and Items, then push the Edit button next to the desired Item Variation.
An editor will pop up, and you can then scroll down to the Pricing Details section (as seen below).
From here, just enable the Custom Price switch!
When Custom Pricing is enabled, you can optionally fill in some Price Instructions to help guide your customer through the process.
Once you've enabled Custom Pricing for an item, all a customer needs to do is select that Item Variation when checking out. In the KioskBuddy app, "Custom Price" identifiers will be shown in the menu display, and the app will prompt the customer to type in their price as seen below. Note that the default price set in KioskBuddy will be used as a placeholder, which you can use to offer a suggested price.
