To add a customer name to an order, you'll want to set up a custom Checkout Flow in KioskBuddy. This is KioskBuddy's way to script out exactly what the customer needs to input to complete their order, just like training a cashier. Follow the steps below!

How to Create a Checkout Step for Order Name

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab of the KioskBuddy Dashboard and scroll down to the Checkout Flow Section.

  2. Push the NEW CHECKOUT STEP button.

  3. Select Text based checkout step.

  4. Push NEXT.

  5. Fill in the prompt similar to the screenshot below.

    Important: Enable the option to "Use the customer's input as an order name". The other options can be whatever you like! Once you do this, every time the customer checks out they'll need to fill in their order name.
