Layout Presets

To help you get up and running as quickly as possible with a nice looking kiosk, there are four preset layout styles to choose from. Alternatively, for finer control, you can customize your kiosks to control how each part of the menu looks like, from categories, to items, to modifiers and more with Advanced Styling Options. Below is a description of each preset along with the differences between each one.

How to use a Layout Preset

  1. Log in to the KioskBuddy Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Styling page.

  3. Scroll down and find the Layout Presets section.

  4. Push the APPLY button for the preset you want to use.

  5. That's it! Your kiosks will automatically update to match the styling settings for that preset.

KioskBuddy V1

The KioskBuddy V1 preset is our current go-to design. Each category shows up in a card with overlay text. Selecting a category shows each item in a card, also with overlay text. Looks amazing with pictures!

KioskBuddy V2

The KioskBuddy V2 preset similar to the V1 version, the only difference is that selecting a category shows each item in a card. We recommend this preset if you're not using item pictures.

Classic

The Classic preset is the original KioskBuddy design. A side-panel is shown on the left with the current menu's categories. The selection of category filters the displayed items in the middle section.

Simple

The Simple preset is great for small item libraries that don't have very many categories. All of the items are placed on a single page, and there are no categories displayed at all. We think it looks great if each item has a picture.
